Since June 1, 2008, LiveNetworks.tv regularly presents a series of live broadcasts from Wave Street Studios, located in Monterey, California, USA. These studios are just minutes from John Steinbeck’s famous Cannery Row, against the stunning backdrop of Pacific Coast nature reserves.Our live webcasts are shot before a studio audience. Our broadcasts are available through the LiveNetworks portal, and additionally, through our network partners worldwide.
Live Networks, in collaboration with Wave Street Studios, has developed a broadcast/performance schedule focusing on music of many genres: alternative, bluegrass, blues, Celtic, classical, folk, funk, fusion, hip-hop, jazz, pop, reggae, rock, soul, Western Americana, and more.Our programming schedule also includes many other artists, authors, entertainers, educators, and business experts. Featured programming has included salsa, belly dancing, and other dance; yoga, tai chi, and other lifestyle/health; and theatre, burlesque, and cooking. We’ve showcased teen culture programming too, written and produced by teenagers. Who’s running the show?
Management
Rhett Allen Smith is founder, facility designer, creative director, and audio/video engineer. Rhett has been self-employed as a producer of high tech/high touch environments since 1983. In 1997, Rhett founded Media Room Studios.
Rhett is a native of the Monterey Peninsula and resides here with his wife, Judy, and their two children.
